Welcome

 Welcome to the website of the Benefice of Whitchurch with Tufton with Litchfield Hampshire, UK. All Hallows is the parish church of the united benefice of Whitchurch with St Mary in Tufton and St James the Less in Litchfield, in the Deanery of Whitchurch and the Anglican Diocese of Winchester, England.

Collect for the Second Sunday of Advent and a prayer for our vacancy

O Lord, raise up, we pray, your power and come among us, and with great might succour us; that whereas, through our sins and wickedness we are grievously hindered in running the race that is set before us, your bountiful grace and mercy may speedily help and deliver us; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, to whom with you and the Holy Spirit, be honour and glory, now and for ever. Amen

Heavenly Father, Thank you there was unanimity among the interview panel over the choice of candidate to fill our vacancy. Grant there be no delay in all the necessary steps to confirm the decision so we can soon rejoice with them by name . Amen.

Join our Bell Ringers

Our band of Bell Ringers are keen to recruit some new members to help ring our peal of 10 bells.

Bell Ringing is –

  • A 400 year old tradition;

  • A team activity;

  • A great mental workout and

  • A service to the church

You don’t need any musical experience and all the maths you need is to be able to count.

Practices are on Monday evenings.  To see more about our bells go to https://youtu.be/x-OfFB97ASc . For more details call Jenny on 01256 895098.
