Welcome to our New Priest

Revd David Roche will be the next priest in the parish of Whitchurch with Tufton with Litchfield. David is working for the Church Mission Society with his wife Amy in Beirut, Lebanon, at the All Nations Anglican Church. David and Amy will be moving to Whitchurch with three of their children (they have two older daughter as well) in late spring in time for his licensing on at All Hallows 16 May 2018 at 7.30pm. Please join us at this service to welcome David, Amy and the family to Whitchurch.

JOB ADVERT - PARISH ADMINISTRATOR – PART TIME

8 hours (2 mornings) a week – Salary £3619.20 (£8.70 per hour).

All Hallows Church is seeking to recruit a part time Parish Administrator. This position requires competency in administrative duties and a warm and welcoming personality. Training will be given. You will need to be:

• self motivated and able to take initiative

• computer literate and proficient in Word/Excel

• sympathetic to the Christian faith

• an excellent communicator

• someone with a positive attitude

• able to work closely with our new priest-in-charge and churchwardens

• discrete when required

February 2018 (this can be changed if needed)

Visiting Us

Opening time - Our churches are usually open every day from 8am to 6pm. Please check ‘What’s On’ to see if there are any extra services on when you plan to visit. 

Parking - There is a small parking bay outside All Hallows church. For weddings and funerals this is reserved for the official party. There are no parking restrictions on the road outside the church, but please be considerate. Please DO NOT park too close to the junction with Wells Lane, leave at least two car lengths free either side of the junction.

Join our Bell Ringers

Our band of Bell Ringers are keen to recruit some new members to help ring our peal of 10 bells.

Bell Ringing is –

  • A 400 year old tradition;

  • A team activity;

  • A great mental workout and

  • A service to the church

You don’t need any musical experience and all the maths you need is to be able to count.
