 All Hallows is the parish church of the united benefice of Whitchurch with St Mary in Tufton and St James the Less in Litchfield, in the Deanery of Whitchurch and the Anglican Diocese of Winchester, England.
ON THE ADVICE OF THE ARCHBISHOPS OF CANTERBURY AND YORK ALL PUBLIC WORSHIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED DURING THE CORONAVIRUS OUTRBEAK AND OUR CHURCHES ARE, REGRETFULLY, CLOSED.
However, we continue our mission virtually and join together through the wonders of modern technology.
This is our Lockdown Church.

While we cannot meet together in Church we will provide a short digital service. Please click the Virtual Services logo.

All Hallows operates a Pastoral Visiting Service. Although at the moment it would perhaps be better to think of us as a “social contact team”.   We are a team of trained volunteers who normally visit people in their homes to provide care in our community and social contact. During the current COVID-19 outbreak we have switched to providing social contact by other means, mostly phone calls, but text and email is also being used.

Our Churchrooms are currently being used by care workers. See here.

During Lockdown, while we cannot use the  All Hallows’ building for prayer, we have a virtual Compassion Tree

If you would like to add a prayer to the tree, please Send your words to parishadmin@ahwhitchurch.org.uk. Prayers received by Wednesday will appear on the tree for one week from the following Sunday. You may ask them to be repeated by sending another e-mail.

Parking

There is a small parking bay outside All Hallows church. For weddings and funerals this is reserved for the official party. There are no parking restrictions on the road outside the church, but please be considerate. Please DO NOT park too close to the junction with Wells Lane, leave at least two car lengths free either side of the junction.

Join our Bell Ringers

Our band of Bell Ringers are keen to recruit some new members to help ring our peal of 10 bells.

Bell Ringing is –

  • A 400 year old tradition;

  • A team activity;

  • A great mental workout and

  • A service to the church

You don’t need any musical experience and all the maths you need is to be able to count.

Practices are on Monday evenings.  To see more about our bells go to https://youtu.be/x-OfFB97ASc . For more details call Jenny on 01256 895098.
