Praying for Our Young People

A group of us have committed to pray for our young people every Friday at 2:00 pm in All Hallows. This will be a mixture of liturgy and free prayer - but no one will be under any pressure to pray out loud.  Please join us. Anyone who would like us to pray for their children, using their first name, please let us know. Any older children and young adults who would like payer please give us your names.

‘Family Hog Roast’

This is planned for Sunday 27th May following morning service at All Hallows. This is to mark the arrival and to welcome David, Amy and Family as well as a thank you to the clergy that have supported us during the vacancy.

YOUNG CHURCH BUILDERS

What you’d probably know as Sunday School we call Young Church Builders. We meet most* Sunday mornings from 10am (i.e. before the service starts) in the Church Rooms attached to All Hallows.

At YCB we take children from 3 to 11 years and aim to provide music, singing, Bible stories and fun activities appropriate to their age.

If you would like to join us on a Sunday morning, please pop in and see what we get up to. We are always happy to have new children in YCB.

* Our Praise Communion services, which happen roughly once a month, are designed for the whole family and so there is no YCB on these days. Please help yourself to an activity bag (located in the carpeted area near the font) which should keep younger children occupied should their attention wander!

BABIES AND TODDLERS

Children are very welcome at our Service, whether they stay with you in the pew, stretch their legs in the carpeted area by the font or join YCB in the Church Rooms, where they may play with the toys (under the supervision of their carers) and are welcome to join in with YCB as and when they feel like it.

Toddlers are also welcome to play quietly (again under supervision) in the carpeted font area during the Service, but please note that their voices will carry during the quieter parts of the Service.

The activity bags (located in the carpeted area) should keep your children occupied if they aren’t in YCB.
