Dying Matters Awareness Week - 14 – 20 May. On Thursday 17 May, come along to the Town Hall between 9.30 and 12.00 to chat with Parish Nurse Dorrie Bilson and to find out more about issues such as the type of care someone would like towards the end of their life, where they'd like to die, funeral arrangements or care of dependents.

Praying for Our Young People

A group of us have committed to pray for our young people every Friday at 2:00 pm in All Hallows. This will be a mixture of liturgy and free prayer - but no one will be under any pressure to pray out loud.  Please join us. Anyone who would like us to pray for their children, using their first name, please let us know. Any older children and young adults who would like payer please give us your names.

‘Family Hog Roast’

This is planned for Sunday 27th May following morning service at All Hallows. This is to mark the arrival and to welcome David, Amy and Family as well as a thank you to the clergy that have supported us during the vacancy.

To cover the cost of the hog, coleslaw and dessert - tickets will be available at the following prices: Adults and children over 15 £7.50; Children 5 - 14 years £4, Under 5s Free of charge.

Tickets will be on sale following our services on 13th and 20th May. We very much hope that you will join friends for this celebration lunch.

Prayer at All Hallows

If you would like someone to pray for you, or someone you know, there will be someone available to pray with you after the 10am service each week, in the north aisle near the Compassion Tree.

The  Vine Trust - still urgently looking for more volunteers to help in their Christian Bookshop in Bridge Street Andover.  We especially need help on Thursdays and Saturdays.  The Vine Trust Bookshop is open 6 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm .  We operate  two shifts per day 10 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm and we are looking for volunteers to help with either a 1/2 or full day.   Please  Contact – Brenda Sleath on 01264 355706, or call into the shop to find out more or arrange a time for training.

What you’d probably know as Sunday School we call Young Church Builders. We meet most* Sunday mornings from 10am (i.e. before the service starts) in the Church Rooms attached to All Hallows.

At YCB we take children from 3 to 11 years and aim to provide music, singing, Bible stories and fun activities appropriate to their age.

If you would like to join us on a Sunday morning, please pop in and see what we get up to. We are always happy to have new children in YCB.

* Our Praise Communion services, which happen roughly once a month, are designed for the whole family and so there is no YCB on these days. Please help yourself to an activity bag (located in the carpeted area near the font) which should keep younger children occupied should their attention wander!

Children are very welcome at our Service, whether they stay with you in the pew, stretch their legs in the carpeted area by the font or join YCB in the Church Rooms, where they may play with the toys (under the supervision of their carers) and are welcome to join in with YCB as and when they feel like it.

Toddlers are also welcome to play quietly (again under supervision) in the carpeted font area during the Service, but please note that their voices will carry during the quieter parts of the Service.

The activity bags (located in the carpeted area) should keep your children occupied if they aren’t in YCB.
