Young Church Builders outdoor space Ecochurch project - YCB will be doing planting and growing to reflect the glory of Gods creation! We are on the lookout for donations of pollinator friendly plants (e.g. lavenders/borage/scabious) that could cope in pots outside, a couple of trowels or hand-forks and maybe even a small cold-frame (we could patch it up if necessary). If you think you can help please email or call Lettie on - Tel: 07532 376 726

Reminder - Parish Fete—Saturday 13 July 2019 - 12.30 - 4.30 p.m. Donations, large and small are very welcome such as – homemade cakes, produce, plants, jams/preserves, good quality used books for the bookstall, bottles of wine/beer/spirits for the bottle game, raffle, Silent Auction. Items for the tombola such as (new) colouring pencils sets, toiletries. If you would like to donate in advance of the Fete, have items collected or have any questions please call me on 01256 896402, Sue Bailey, Fete Chair. Many thanks for your generosity, we couldn't do without you!

Tea and Tots are looking for volunteers to help set up the play equipment before the carers and their tots arrive. It’s a simple, quick job and would suit anyone, male or female, young or more mature, on your own or with a partner, who is be able to carry some play equipment from the cupboard into the church room hall. We are hoping to have sufficient volunteers to create a rota. This is a great way of supporting the church and, although very simple and only requiring 20 mins for each session, would be valued hugely! Please prayerfully consider whether you could join this team - you would need to be at the church rooms at 9.15 am on a Thursday morning and should be able to get away by 9.30-9.40. Please let Lynda (895556) or Geoff (896530) know if you are able to help us! Thank you.

Parking - A reminder from your churchwardens: Please could the lay-by be kept free for cars carrying those who have difficulty in walking. Many thanks.

Prayer cards are now available in a small stand on the prayer table. Please feel free to take one for yourself or a friend. There is no charge.

What you’d probably know as Sunday School we call Young Church Builders. We meet most* Sunday mornings from 10am (i.e. before the service starts) in the Church Rooms attached to All Hallows.

At Young Church Builders we take children from 3 to 11 years and aim to provide music, singing, Bible stories and fun activities appropriate to their age.

If you would like to join us on a Sunday morning, please pop in and see what we get up to. We are always happy to have new children in Young Church Builders .

Over the summer holidays there is no Young Church Builders .  Please help yourself to an activity bag (located in the carpeted area near the font) which should keep younger children occupied should their attention wander! Children are also welcome to use the Church Room (under your supervision) during the service. Please speak to our sidespeople if you want to know where things are.

Children are very welcome at our Service, whether they stay with you in the pew, stretch their legs in the carpeted area by the font or join YCB in the Church Rooms, where they may play with the toys (under the supervision of their carers) and are welcome to join in with Young Church Builders as and when they feel like it.

Toddlers are also welcome to play quietly (again under supervision) in the carpeted font area during the Service, but please note that their voices will carry during the quieter parts of the Service.

The activity bags (located in the carpeted area) should keep your children occupied if they aren’t in Young Church Builders .
