Jesus Lifestyle Course Tuesday evenings from 2 October for 6 weeks

This is a short discipleship course, a follow on from the Alpha Course - although you don't have to have gone to Alpha first. It starts with a meal, followed by a short video and then informal group discussion.  This is open to anyone - member of our congregation or not.  We need volunteers to help run the course, organise food and help lead groups.  Please see Revd. David for more information.

Sunday 25 November Confirmation Service 6pm with Bishop David

Would you like to be confirmed? Do you now anyone who would like to be confirmed? If so please see Revd. David for an informal chat to discuss preparation classes.

Church Library

Members of the PCC have sorted through the books in the All Hallows Library (located near the Mary Maze). Please feel free to borrow any books - just return them when you have finished with them.

Some books have been left on the pews nearby. These will be recycled in two weeks; if anyone wants to take and keep them please do.  Finally, if anyone has any relevant, modern, helpful Christian bools they would like to share, please bring them along to the library.

What you’d probably know as Sunday School we call Young Church Builders. We meet most* Sunday mornings from 10am (i.e. before the service starts) in the Church Rooms attached to All Hallows.

At YCB we take children from 3 to 11 years and aim to provide music, singing, Bible stories and fun activities appropriate to their age.

If you would like to join us on a Sunday morning, please pop in and see what we get up to. We are always happy to have new children in YCB.

Over the summer holidays there is no YCB.  Please help yourself to an activity bag (located in the carpeted area near the font) which should keep younger children occupied should their attention wander! Children are also welcome to use the Church Room (under your supervision) during the service. Please speak to our sidespeople if you want to know where things are.

Children are very welcome at our Service, whether they stay with you in the pew, stretch their legs in the carpeted area by the font or join YCB in the Church Rooms, where they may play with the toys (under the supervision of their carers) and are welcome to join in with YCB as and when they feel like it.

Toddlers are also welcome to play quietly (again under supervision) in the carpeted font area during the Service, but please note that their voices will carry during the quieter parts of the Service.

The activity bags (located in the carpeted area) should keep your children occupied if they aren’t in YCB.
